why the name 213w?simply put: the company is comprised of four partners that are neighbors. some of them live at street address # 2 and some of them live at house address # 13. The "w" relates to the part of the town they live at....simple. Top

how does 213w wine imports find high value and good wine?we idenitfy wines through researching wines that we like and identifying potential suppliers and sampling their wines either by having them sent to us or visiting their vineyards. further we are frequently invited to various private international tastings and wine fairs. does 213W identify all the wines themselves?we identify a large percentage of our wines, but we also rely on others to help us--- we work with a great team of people that sometimes sources wines for us. a list of the best ones may be found in the links. one must be careful since these can often be the detriment of any good wine concept, since they are plagued with superiority complexes and often exert too much control. i can think easily of one husband and wife team. we are also often invited to business wine tastings hosted by the ever meticulous michele shah (www.micheleshah.com). she has been a great help and we are very grateful for her dedication to GREAT happenings and networking.
